Journal #22

Overall, I feel very confident in the work that our group has been doing. We’re doing well in allowing each other to voice our ideas or concerns regarding the project. This has indefinitely happened with what our brochure looks like and the important information being highlighted. Although I have set up the brochure, Elia and Alexa had a huge influence on placement and language throughout the whole thing. One area we were able to improve on throughout the process was what each one of us brought to the table individually, and consistently contributing. We created a group chat by the second work day which allowed up the update one another on our work, and check in on overall progress. I would undoubtedly work with both of these people again.

In terms of the second part, I would go the route of allowing the person to ask questions and challenge my ideas. This would be so I could explain my ideas, and hopefully meet in the middle with a decision. I feel if you give them the opportunity to voice these things, then a solution can be found by the end of the conversation. If they are still persistent on disagreeing, I would then have the individual voice what their ideas/hopes were in regards to the project. From there we would be able to vote or hold discussion on what the better route is.
