For this, I chose to look at the popular energy drink brand Celsius. With so many brands out there that specialize in energy drinking, how does this stand out? The mission statement on their website says, “We aim to inspire those who want to live fit by giving them a sustained energy source that’s specially formulated to work with your body to help you reach your goals. We support those who work overtime at everything they do and never take shortcuts.”(https://www.celsius.com/about/)

I like the mission statement they have, but it also leaves me some questions. When they state how they formulated a drink that specifically works with the human body, I am curious on how it does so. It feels a little vague and up to interpretation on how the drink is supposed to do so. The way it markets so well, in my opinion, is the use of color and imaging on their cans. Using images of fresh fruit can allude to consumers that fruit juice or something with fresh fruit is involved in its creation. It would attract consumers because it makes them feel healthy and that they’re choosing a better alternative to other energy drink brands. Along with this, the bright colors of fruit and the logo is appealing to the eye, making it more marketable on shelves. It goes well with the white background and black print which makes it easily read and understood as to what kind of product it is. I can see why it is so popular for consumption today
