Journal #19 (WRT-317)

Try to remember that a draft is meant to be a draft, not the final version. I was not always the best at remembering this sentiment but the idea of it drove me forward. It’s extremely important to the compiling of each section. It’s easier to stare at a blank page or a single paragraph in an attempt to perfect it, but doing so doesn’t move the project forward. Therefore take the draft as an opportunity to get the preliminary ideas down and allow the others in the room guide you to the final version. Following such a template makes the workload easier throughout the semester and, in some ways, more fun.
