Morgan Talty is an acclaimed writer and citizen of the Penobscot Indian Nation. His published texts include Night of the Living Rez and his upcoming novel Fire Exit, set to release on June 4th. Outside of his titled works, Talty has also been featured in multiple reputable publications including The Guardian, Maine Magazine, and LitHub. His accolades range from the New England Book Award and the 2021 Narrative Prize. When he isn’t working on his writing, Talty teaches at University of Maine, Orono as an Assistant Professor in the English department.
