For this profile piece, I will be interviewing Professor Samuel McReynolds from the Sociology department (is also chair of the department). He is a tenured professor here at the university who has been teaching for 20+ years. He teaches a bulk of the Sociology courses here on campus and has focus in student research. Lastly, he also holds a position within the office of Citizenship and Civic Engagement. I think Sam will be able to provide a very interesting conversation on his history of research experience at the University. He has been able to travel to countries such as Brazil, Spain, and the Dominican Republic. I also think his long term position at UNE will be able to provide outlook on how UNE research has changed throughout the years.
Other people I may consider gathering information from on this topic is sociology students who have worked with Professor McReynolds, fellow department professors, and another member of the office of citizenship and civic engagement.
