Professionalism:
How well prepared was the candidate for the interview? How was the candidate dressed? Was it appropriate? Was the candidate knowledgeable of the job that they were applying for as well as the company?
Candidate was not dressed appropriately for interview, looked disheveled in appearance 
– Candidate did not come prepared with questions for interviewee
– Came without any materials for interview 
– Candidate had little knowledge of the position and none on company itself
Candidate was somewhat dressed appropriately, but still lacked looking professional/serious about interview 
– Candidate came with some questions for interviews regarding position
– Came with some needed materials for the interview (pen, notebook, portfolio, etc.), but some lack purpose
– Had some general knowledge of the position and company
Candidate came  dressed in appropriate clothing that reflects their professionalism 
– Candidate had questions for interviewers that related closely to the position/company 
– Candidate came with all needed materials to ensure interview success and were effectively used
– Had deep understanding of both applied position and company as a whole
Self Awareness:
Did the candidate seem to be in control of themselves? Were actions and thoughts purposeful? Was the candidate driven by emotion? Was the candidate “cool and collected”?
-Candidate seemed to have low self control, high  visible nerves
-Thoughts and actions were very scattered and difficult to find purpose of  
-Lack of emotion besides nerves, “stone-faced” 
-Candidate had minimal visible nerves and some control of the body
 – Thoughts and actions were still unorganized, but can be understood as purposeful 
– some emotion besides nerves is able to be seen, interest or content-ness
-Candidate had no visible sign of nerves, collected and present for the interview
-Displayed confidence, drive, and overall positive energy in the interview
 – Thoughts and actions are intended with clear purpose, no gray area
 – Answered all question with purpose and displayed attentiveness to the job through it 
Connection: 
Did the candidate connect well with the interviewer(s)? Would this be someone you could work well with? Did the candidate enter with a good impression and leave with a good impression? 
-Candidate seemed to reject you as an interviewer.
-Candidate entered poorly and did nothing to ensure that you left with a better feeling about them.
-Candidate was nervous but entered and handed themselves well
-Candidate established themselves with a presence and held themselves together through interview
-Candidate answered “telling question” poorly resulting in bad feeling
-Candidate entered and radiated a wonderful presence, you want this person for your team
-Candidate showed no nervous energy, and wanted to get right to the point. 
-Candidate answered the “telling question” well and without fail. 
-Candidate was jotting down information during the interview but even still hardly broke contact
-At end of interview candidate asked best way to follow up and received interviewer(s) contact information
Effectiveness of Answering Questions:
Did the candidate answer all the asked questions in an effective manner? Were their responses appropriate to the question asked?
-Answers did not correlate to the questions asked, or had an extremely loose and hard to see connection
-Could not answer most/ all of the questions asked
-Some answers were inappropriate for the interview setting
-Candidate answered almost all the questions asked
-Most responses fit with the questions being asked and gave clear information to the interviewer
-Some hesitancy answering questions
-Candidate could answer every question asked
-Answers fit directly with what was asked and provided clear information to the interviewers
-Was able to answer the questions in an effective time manner
-Didn’t go back and “re-answer” questions later on, kept the interview moving
Attitude:
How did the candidates present themselves throughout the interview? Were they excited to be there? Did they act better than you? Were they positive? Etc.






-Candidate did not appear to want to be at the interview. 
-Acted indifferent or uninterested
-Attention was clearly elsewhere, which affected the process
-Candidate appeared eager enough for the job/ interview, but had moments of disinterest
 -Attention wasn’t fully on the interview, moments of distraction or confusion
-Candidate appeared ready for, and interested in the interview
-They engaged appropriately with interviewers
-Took notes/ asked questions regarding the job/ position
