Job Title: Gold Star Educational Ambassador

General Job Description: The idea behind this position is to be a lead on selling our newest product, The Gold Stars Key to Academic Success, to young-adults and universities. Said person in this position is expect to connect with students who are interested in or attending college, and encourage the experience. The key element is that this handbook, is for UNE. You want to able to sell students the full package on what the expect in attending and being part of the UNE community.

Major Responsibilities: To connect with students on their way to UNE and other colleges affiliated with UNE. To also connect with administration at different colleges including UNE. Promote the handbook we have created to these groups and try to effectively influence. Overall, achieve in selling students our handbook in preparation for college. Also, to create deals with other colleges in order to make handbooks for their first-year classes.

Minor Responsibilities: To keep up consistent communication with all sources. Preview options for schools, research into what universities may be similar to UNE and a considerable option to connect with. Look out for students who are passionate about their schools community, help with promotion. Traveling to different universities in order to observe community and academic lifestyles for research purposes.

Qualifications: A recent college graduate would be ideal for this position. They must have flexible hours with an access to transportation for traveling in order to visit multiple schools. Must have experience in promotion sales or any sort of professional communications background.

Key Competencies: Comfortable with leadership positions including large groups. Effective public speaking skills, and can sway a group in biased perspective. Must have reliance, be able to be reached at all hours. Cannot be unmotivated, pessimistic, or give negative connotations to said college being discussed. Can positively represent UNE and our company in meetings and events. Cannot take long time in response, must be consistent in communicating with other companies and universities, especially those interested.
