Journal #16

I thought this last class was really productive for our group. We were able to look at our other groups work, and see how it compared to ours. I felt ours was different from the others group which was great because it doesn’t feel like our project is standard or repetitive, instead it stands out. It also allowed us to help the other groups on what they could do to improve their projects. I found this to be all-hands on deck collaborative. There was good advice I was able to give, but also great advice to take away. I thought our group was almost a finished project despite some small things, but there ended up being more that I can add than initially thought. People in the room gave good advice about small specifics we needed, or where to add some more imagery to pop.

Within our group, we were able to work together on what we had left. Some of this was adding sentences to make paragraphs run smoother, or to be more specific. Mostly, it was telling Jordyn if we had updated anything to our work so it could be transferred to the eportfolio. Since we had assigned positions at the beginning, it helped in the long run so we could work on larger sections together. I think, in general, my group meshed really well together. We were all really diligent about getting the work done and having it be good. Our communication was consistent and there was never a time I had to remind someone to do their work.
